1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Nala! These Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between you and Platin Digital.
By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Service Description
Nala is an AI-powered personal assistant app that allows:
- ✅ Task and reminder management
- ✅ Saving personal information ("memories")
- ✅ Client and business management
- ✅ Natural language communication (text and voice)
- ✅ Proactive reminders ("pings")
3. Eligibility
Age Requirements
- This app is intended for users aged 17 and older
- If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian permission
Account Requirements
- A valid Google account is required to sign up
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
4. Permitted and Prohibited Use
✅ Permitted Use
- Personal use for managing tasks and memories
- Business use for managing clients and projects
- Natural language interaction with Nala
❌ Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for illegal activity
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Breach system security or attempt to hack it
- Use the app for harassment or harm to others
- Upload offensive, threatening, or illegal content
- Use the service for spam or fraud
5. Energy System and Payments
Payment Model
- Using Nala is based on an "energy" system
- Energy is consumed for each AI interaction
- Additional energy can be purchased via In-App Purchases
Refund Policy
- In-App Purchases are subject to Apple App Store / Google Play policies
- For refund requests, please contact the relevant store
- Consumed energy is non-refundable
6. Intellectual Property
Our Ownership
The app, design, code, and "Nala" brand are property of Platin Digital. All rights reserved.
Your Content
- You retain ownership of all content you upload
- You grant us a license to use the content solely for providing the service
- This license terminates when you delete your content or account
7. Limitation of Liability
⚠️ Nala may make mistakes. Do not rely on Nala for critical decisions related to health, finances, or legal matters without independently verifying the information.
To the extent permitted by law:
- The service is provided "AS IS"
- We do not guarantee continuous service availability
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
Third-Party Services
We use AI services from Google, Groq, and xAI. We are not responsible for failures or changes in these services.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Platin Digital harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these terms
- Misuse of the app
- Infringement of third-party rights
9. Termination
Termination by You
- You may delete your account at any time through app settings
- Deleting your account will delete all your data
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these terms
- You use the service for illegal activity
- You harm other users or the system
10. Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms from time to time
- Material changes will be announced in the app
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
11. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel
- Disputes will be adjudicated in the competent courts in Israel
- For EU users: Your rights under EU law are preserved
